Summer 2012 has been a blast. In my last blog post, I talked about attending the Amsterdam Fashion Week. During the summer I also visited the Nacht van de Mode (Arnhem Fashion Night) and next I will be traveling to Amsterdam once more for Vogue first edition of Amsterdam Fashion Night Out. Talk about fully emerging myself in my journey to fashion.
But first, about the Arnhem Fashion Night. Arnhem a city that one hour drive from Amsterdam and home to ArtEZ fashion school, which boast among it alumni Viktor & Rolf, Lucas Ossendrijver (Lanvin), Iris van Herpen and others is the perfect place for Fashionista who are looking for something new and fresh.
It all took place at fashion avenue “Mode Kwartier” situated just a few hundred meters from trainstation Arnhem Velperpoort in the area called Klarendaal. During the Arnhem Fashion Night different ateliers had mini catwalk shows that showed their latest collections. Some offered discounts and others had sample sales. It was all very enjoyable with music and drinks. Even Dutch fashion designer Bas Kosters was present showing his DJ skills during the the night.

There is also a fashion hotel being built in the vicinity of ateliers called Hotel Modez where each room has a one of a kind artistic decor and furniture designed by Dutch fashion designers. Hotel Modez will welcome its first guest on September 17, 2012
