O my goodness! Has it really been two months since my last post? OK then, new years resolution goal to blog more has officially failed. Haha. Wondering what I have been up to lately? Keep on reading.
For the past few months, I have been diving deep into the world of make up. Let us just call it “my journey to make up”. It started last December with my purchase of a MAC make up brushes set. You know what they say about make up brushes, that they make all the difference when applying make up. At least that is what I have been told.

- 209 Eye Liner Brush
- 129 Powder/Blush Brush
- 190 Foundation Brush
For me, I just thought that if I was going to be experimenting with make up at least I should have good brushes. Make up brand MAC Cosmetics, which is quite well known, has very good reviews of its brushes, so I started with a basic brush set that included mini brushes for the face, eyes, cheeks and lips. Next I had some friends over to my place and together with my make up artist friend Chozann (link to her Instagram here), we organised a make up party.
Where I learned the basics of a full face of day and night make up and cool tips and tricks for a beginner like me. Now you can say I am fully equipped to play around with make up and become the next youtube beauty guru. LOL.

As someone who’s make up previously consisted of lipgloss and eyeliner I have a long way to go from to being highly skilled at make up, but at long as I am having fun, why not?
