Having a good friend of mine visit for the weekend was the perfect opportunity to raid my closet for an Outfit Of The Day (OOTD), before we headed to the city for a day out shopping. Following the theme of my last blog post (link Here), I found a cute yellow top in my closet from H&M that I decided would be the basis for this OOTD.
I paired the top with a knee length navy blue straight skirt (gifted) and my favourite women’s brogues from Clark’s. Normally during the colder months, you would always see me wearing pants, but lately I have been wearing skirts more often. But to save myself from freezing to death I wore black tights, a dark blue cardigan from TK Maxx and a black mid length black blazer coat from C&A. For accessories I wore a pair of gold coloured earrings and necklace.
And just in case the yellow coloured top was not making enough of a statement, I completed the look by carrying a medium sized white envelope clutch. I thought this newly gifted envelope clutch bag would be the perfect item to give my look a bit of an edge. Like they say go big or go home. Friends and family know that my bags are usually on the larger side. (link to me new bag purchase Here), but surprisingly I still managed to fit everything I needed in the clutch.
It has been a while since I last posted an Outfit Of The Day, but everyday I manage to dress like I am ready to take pictures to post to this blog. I was amazed and surprised at how quickly I managed to put this outfit together without having to go out and purchase a special outfit. I guess that is when you truly know you have become a fashionista.
