I have always considered myself someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and for this reason I always admire entrepreneurs that take the plunge and start their own business. Through acquaintances I heard about a Dutch startup company called Cotton’s Finest, which is a sock company offering monthly subscription boxes of an uniquely designed pair of cotton socks made of the finest materials.

I think that idea of unique socks being delivered at your doorsteps on monthly basis is a wonderful business idea. I would usually buy white socks in bulk and to think that for about the same price I could now receive a new pair every month with every month the socks having a different design that is unique to the company is amazing, which is why I bought a subscription during their soft launch.*
Here a look at January subscription box.
As a pre-order customer I was able to customise my order to receive two pair of socks during my subscription period instead of the standard one pair. Female socks (left) and male socks (right).
The box also included a signature card with a personal message. Because I ordered very early on, I was their first customer and was shipped their first pair of Cotton’s Finest socks!
The socks are mid-calf height have a non ravel comfort band at the top, that stops them from rolling down. The socks designs looks retro yet very modern perfect for millennials or sneaker heads. The most excited thing about the socks apart from the design is how comfortable they are. The socks are super soft. Cotton’s Finest really delivers on its promise of having super comfortable socks. I would have liked the socks to have more reinforced heel and toe, but that is a minor detail seeing the price point and knowing the price includes shipping.
