Luxury Designer Brand
Have you seen my post, where my friends gifted me my first Louis Vuitton? (Link here). Well, I must have caught the luxury designer brand bug, because for the holiday season, I went and purchased another designer item. This time from the fashion house Dior. While I have never purchase designer goods from Dior store, I am very familiar with their perfumes. J'adore by Dior is one my favorite perfumes. This made me quite excited to visit their store and see what I could purchase. While in the store, I went to their scarves section and saw some beautiful Dior oblique stole.
To Buy Or Not To Buy
Even with the full intention of gifting myself an expensive item from a designer brand I was still hesitant. I had to think long and hard if the item I was purchasing was some-thing I truly loved or if I was falling victim to flex culture. But at the end of the day after spending a day shopping with one of my girlfriends in Amsterdam, I finally went the Dior store and left the store with my new purchase, a beautiful off-white colored Dior oblique stole.
The beautiful Dior stole was created for Spring-Summer 2019 collection by their talented Artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri who is also the first female artistic director at Dior.
Woven into the stole is the Dior oblique pattern that was created in 1967 by Marc Bohan that has now been reinterpreted in the recent seasons by Maria Grazia Chiuri.
The stole is 70% made from virgin wool and 30% from silk. Virgin wool is wool that has not previously been processed or woven. It is breathable, water-repellent and durable and can also resists wrinkles, stains and odors.
As someone who loves scarves and actually wears them all the time, I could not be happier with my purchase. There is no better feeling that purchasing an item that is beautiful, elegant, of higher quality and can be worn on a daily basis.
Now that I own a designer scarf what do you think my
next designer purchase should be?
Do what makes you happy.
